2. The French word for salt is sel. Remember when your parents get salt, they have to buy it from someone who "sel"s it.

3. The French word for fish is poisson so remember to be careful when eating fish. It could be "poissons"ous.

4. The French word for cereal is céréale. To remember how to spell it, remember there are three 'e's and two of them have accent marks. Other than that it is spelled the same in English.

5. The French word for tomato is tomate. Remember Tom ate a tomato, and you'll know tomate.

6. When you want to remember the French word for juice, jus, remember the jus part of just. Then think the term just juice.

7. Carotte looks like English. Double the 't' instead of the 'r' and add an 'e' to the end.
