To remember the word for flood, think of the word for flood that that we learn about when we study Egypt - inundation.

To remember the word for wind, think of a vent letting air out.

To remember tornade, think tornado, but with an 'e' instead of the last 'o'.

To remember the word for thunder, think of the word tone, like bass...tone...tone...tone...on a conga. This helps you remember it is tonnerre.

To remember the word for earthquake, think of the word turbulent which we use to describe bumpy airplane rides. Tremblement has many of the same letters as turbulent. When something trembles, it shakes. This will also help you.

To remember the word for hail, remember that you cannot use the barbecue grill when it is hailing. Grill is similar to grêle.

To remember gelée, think of hair gel. It makes your hair look wet. Frost kind of makes things look wet too.
