TIPS

1. Remember the original word 'Mutter' to make Stiefmutter.

2. Remember brother by saying "My brother is butter".

3. Remember father by saying your fater is full of water. Water looks like Vater.

4. Baby is exactly the same. That's a freebie.

5. Remember cousin by saying "My cousin is better than yours". Better kind of looks like Vetter.

6. Remember uncle by saying "My uncle has a big ankle." This will help you remember there is a 'k' in Onkel.

7. Freunde and friends are similar. Do you see the 'f', 'r', 'e', 'n', and 'd' in both of them?
