Here are some pointers to help you out!

Elf = 11. Think of an elf only 11 inches tall.

Zwölf = 12. Think of the big bad wolf that ate 12 zebras. Z for zebra + wolf gets you zwölf.

Hundert = 100. Think of the first four letters - Hund. It's the same four letters for 100 in both English and German.

Neun = 9. Think of how nine begins with a 'n' sound and ends with a 'n' sound. So does neun.

Tausend =1,000. Think of a kid named Tau who likes to send 1,000 things to different places. Tau + send = 1,000.

Null = 0. Think of a gull who liked to eat a witch's doughnuts. One day she caught him and wanted to turn him into nothingness (N for nothingness), but she wasn't very powerful and could only change him halfway. He lost his 'g' and gained the 'n' from nothingness. Now he is called null and looks like a doughnut.

Eins = 1. Einstein's favorite number is eins (1). Well, actually we don't know if it was, but it helps you remember it, right?

How well do you know your numbers??
