The Spanish Body

Buenos días from Marilyn, Ben, Amanda, Shiloh, Chris, Kera, Jon, Devan, Jessica, Zach, and Katelyn

In our website you will learn the Spanish body parts. You need to know them because if you go to Spain and break your leg you need to know that leg in Spanish is pierna. You may need to know how to say your head hurts, and if you do not know how, you could die! Say you and a friend went to Mexico and your friend hurt his head, you would need to know how to say, "My friend hurt his head!" Or if he got a tooth knocked out or something you would need to know how to say, "My friend got his tooth knocked out, he needs help!" If you broke your back, you would need to know how to say that as well. As you can see, knowing the Spanish body words is very important.

To remember diente you need to think dentist for tooth because they take care of your teeth.

You can remember rodilla by thinking road. You run on the road using your rodilla.

To remember dedo you need to think you use your dedo every day (the way you say it out loud, day-doe).

If you step in a pie, you will never forget that your feet got all yucky. That would be funny! Pie means foot.

Cráneo reminds you of cranium, a scientific word for skull.

Tibia is the same word in both languages.

Lengua means tongue and kind of looks like language. You use your lengua to speak a language (unless its sign language).
