SPANISH NUMBERS
LOS NÚMEROS
EN ESPAÑOL
¡Hola everybody!
¿Cómo están Ustedes? We are happy you could join us
for Spanish numbers!
Spanish numbers
are soooo important!! You need them to buy things of course. How will
you be able to buy things for souvenirs if you don't understand the price?
You also need them for dates. You can't catch your plane home if you don't
know what the date is. If you ask somebody what the date is and they tell
you in Spanish, you better understand or you'll be there forever! Click
on the numbers to hear what they sound like.

Want some help remembering
these? OK, here you go!
Millipedes have 1,000 legs. Millipedes
start with MIL, just like 1,000.
Centipedes have 100 legs. Centipedes
almost start with CIEN, the number for 100.
An octopus has 8 legs. The word
ocho in Spanish means 8. Octo is kind of like ocho.
Now that you've learned ocho, you
can learn ochenta which means eighty. Ochenta starts with the same three
letters as ocho.
Cinco sounds like the word sink
with an O at the end. Imagine you live in a house with five sinks.
Uno can remind you of the card game
Uno. When you have one card left, you yell out UNO!
Dos isn't hard to remember either.
Think of do-si-do. To do-si-do in square dancing, you need two people.
Dos people!
